SHELITA - "You Will Want My Love"

Genre-fluid pop artist and songwriter Shelita has announced her return: a new single called You Will Want My Love, out August 8. It’s her most vulnerable and transportive work yet, rooted in pop and global textures, shaped by the stillness of the ocean and the silence that follows transformation. This is the first single from her upcoming album “Into The Depths”.

A couple of years ago, Shelita suffered a near-fatal skydiving accident while in Seychelles that left her hospitalized and led to multiple surgeries. The road back began underwater. Through freediving (diving underwater while holding one's breath, without the use of scuba gear), she reconnected to her body, her voice, and eventually, her pen. This album reflects her recovery. 

Shelita’s artistry has been praised by NPR, Music Connection, and Forbes for her fearless approach to blending genres and her innovative use of technology in music creation. With “You Will Want My Love”, she continues to carve a lane entirely her own, one that is unique and deeply human.

This single was produced by Shelita and Bellringer, with a standout collaboration with William Henshall of Londonbeat. Her previous releases charted in the top 20 on Billboard and iTunes.
